Thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who made this year's fall fundraiser great. Thanks to the VFW for letting us host the fundraiser at their facility, thanks to Bobby's Market for the great catering, and thanks to Randy's DJ Service for all the announcing and good music.

Thanks to a great community too. Without your support, none of this would be possible for the kids.

We had some great prizes, lots of drinks, plenty of dancing and all kinds of fun.

Fair week is over and it was a blast! I will be posting a few photos and videos that I took over the week. I just want to say that all the kids in our township and other townships did a fantastic job this year. It was exhausting for the leaders but man what a great job.

I would especially like to thank the many families, friends and sponsors that make our township special. Tina and I are so very fortunate to have you close to our family.

We're looking forward to the many more years to come and wish you the very best.

Dean, I would also like to thank you. You have helped Tina and I on more occasions than I probably even know about. You have always had an unconditional attitude and that makes you exceptional in my book. We wish you and Robbie the very best as you explore a new chapter in life. DON'T BE A STRANGER EITHER!

Sean (14 years old) and Snickers (28 years old) at the St. Joseph County 4H Fair running Jr. Speed & Action pattern. Sean takes the lead with the time to beat in this one. I believe that there were about 20 riders too. His good friend Matt is itching for his chance to beat Sean's time. Sean takes first place with a time of 9.5 while Matt and Curtis just miss him with a time of 9.8 seconds. Great job to both of them. They were both fun to watch.

Our fall campout with the 4H group is September 18-20 at Potato Creek State Park. Obviously we will be in the horseman's campgrounds ;-)

If you aren't camping, please join us for a pot luck supper at the park. We have awards, fellowship and a brief meeting. The supper is at 6pm but you can come earlier too.

Bring your camp chairs and something for the pot luck supper if you chose.
